You will always find people worrying about putting up weight and doing all sorts o things to loose weight but over here you are not able to gain some weight despite eating food properly.
Size does matter and after all it's natures rule that bigger the size, higher the value! but that doesn't mean you will put on 90kgs, but it is important to have an average size and a good body.
This will not only give you value and impression, but also helps you to have a healthy life.

How to Gain Weight?

  • Diet: Eating food is the most important part of gaining weight. It's not just eating anything but eating food with higher calories, proteins and carbohydrates. [click here for more about protein food] Try Taking at least 4 meals during the day.
  • If you make a simple calculation, the approximate daily caloric requirement for an average male who performs light activity is 2,200; for a female, it is 1,900.You need to eat around 1,000 extra calories per day to gain less than half a kilo a week.
  • Include combination of carbohydrates and proteins for meals like rice and fish /meat.
  • Eat foods with high protein content such as beans, pulses and peas, fish, meat and foods with high starch content such as potatoes, rice and tapioca.
Snacks: Take snacks throughout the day. Avoid junk foods and aerated drinks which have only calories and no nutritional value instead have:
  • Drink two glasses of milk every day.
  • Eat Bananas and eggs everyday, may be two eggs with breakfast.
  • Drink Fruit juices to increase calorie intake and vitamins.
  • Have cheese, nuts, dry fruits.
  • take High calorie snacks like fries, roasted chicken etc.
Water: Water is life, so drink lots of water. Atleast moret hana liter a day.

Exercise: Exercise is again important because it helps in muscle and body building . Eating alone can harm you and you might end up gaining fat or even diseases like diabetics, cholesterol and more.
Now it does not need a gym machinery, simple exercise would do.
  • Dumbells  would work great
  • Take short intense workouts instead of long periods of low-stress activity.
  • The best weight training exercises for building muscle mass are free weight exercises like squats, dead lifts, bench presses, barbell rows, pull ups and bar dips.

Remember that you won't gain weight overnight. It might take a month or many be more for it to actually show up because our bodies tend to respond to consistency. Now if you could manage to do these consistently and not getting frustrated and leaving it in mid way, you are sure to gain some weight or else come back here and leave a comment saying we were wrong!
